Installation, Mud Cleaner Instruction: 4.1 Installation Attached Drawing 1 is structure and Installation schematic diagram of the centrifuge 4.1.1 In order to fully mix recovered liquid, centrifuge should be installed on the top of No.2 tank or any other suitable place, horizontally and firmly. This is most important for recovering charged materials from charged mud. 4.1.2 The four legs of the centrifuge support should be mounted on hard-steel tank’s surface. Please lay channel iron(≥14#) on it if the surface is too mild, then mount the support’s legs on the channel iron. 4.1.3 Sand discharged groove should be popped out of the tank, and water supply pipe should be joined with the groove. The overflow opening of the centrifuge flows vertically to the reflux flume, underflow opening must have a slant of more than 60° in order to ensure that mud is drained off from the centrifuge smoothly. 4.1.4 Mud filling pump should be mounted on a proper position at the back of the sand-desander and slurry-desander, then connect the mud supply hose and mud-feed pipe by a union. 4.1.5 Connect the flushing lines and split-flow lines on mud-feed pipe and box body. 4.1.6 Power switching box should be installed for the centrifuge control system. Forbidden to connect the mains with the control box directly so as to ensure safety. 4.2 Debugging of the centrifuge 4.2.1 Remove any debris which may affect centrifuge running. 4.2.2 Check the strain of the band. 4.2.3 Rotate the pulley of main motor Mud Cleaner manually, check if any obstruction exist between rotating bowl and box or feed pipe ,remove the obstacles if any. 4.2.4 Start auxiliary motor, at the same time, fill some fresh water into the centrifuge through flushing adapter, then run for one minute. because centrifuge has been analogue status tested before delivery, so a thin layer of wall cake which can’t be discharged is stuck on the inner surface of the drum. Part of wall cake will peel off because of vibration during transportation, lead to unbalance of the drum. Serious vibration even stop(caused by main motor’s thermal protection) will occur if you start main motor to rotate in high-speed now. Fill some water in and rotate the auxiliary motor, then peeled wall cake will be soaked and redistributed, and vibration will be eliminated when starting the centrifuge for the first time.
